This is from a Dutch comedian, Guido Weijers. He was having a rant on the Dutch government (which, as I stated in my previous post, mainly consists of morons) when he said this. I thought it was so beautiful and so true, that I decided to post it:
[Talking about Geert Wilder, a guy who, according to his followers, says what the normal citizens think. I just think he is an islamophobic, overly-patriottic, narrow minded jerk.]
“Ik denk dat dit land niet geregeerd moet worden door iemand die zegt wat iedereen denkt, maar door iemand die zegt waar nog niemand aan heeft gedacht.”
Translation:
"I believe that this country shouldn't be ruled by somebody who says what everybody thinks, but by someone who says the things nobody else has ever thought of."
Beuatiful, innit?
