Fanclubday 2011

Yesterday, me and Sunshine Adrenaline Bomb went to the Within Temptation Fanclubday. I know, it sounds lame, but it really isn't. It's nice to meet people who don't think you're crazy. They had a small concert, a question round, and a signing session that, unfortunately we missed, because there wasn't much time left. I will upload pictures soon!

Just Be Rational!

Ladies and gentlemen, I can inform you that after all this time, the Dutch government has proven that it can sink even lower. Now I'm not anti-government, but as I have staten before, I have a firm hatred towards this particular government. Just hear what happened today:

Our prime minister, Rutte, was having a debate about whether or not somebody of the PVV (Partij Voor de Vrijheid- Party For Freedom) had called the Turkish president a "Islamic monkey". Rutte was saying that it is ridiculous to say something like that, when Wilders (chairman of the PVV) stood up and said that he disagreed with him. And you know what he said?

"Just be rational!"

And of course, Rutte, in all his cleverness said:

"No, YOU be rational!"

People, this is not a ghetto rap battle or a schoolyard "Am not, Are too!"
You are the ones who should be ruling a country for gods sake! (if you pardon the expression)

What bothers me more is that apparently a lot of people voted for these dumbasses, which means that I live in a country full of morons...

Things I Want To Do Before I Die

1. Do the Lauren Cooper routine in real life. (If you don't understand this, look up "Lauren Cooper" on YouTube- I challenge you to keep a straight face!)
2. Read "Much Ado About Nothing"
3. Get a whole group of people together to stare at the sky, while nothing is actually there.
4. Have a Star Wars marathon.
5. Direct a movie or small video.
6. Collect all the Harry Potter books in English.

Autism Test?

Turns out that autism tests aren't reliable. At all. I am not a really social person, so I thought I would check it out. The test told me I was only one point away from being on par with somebody with Asperger's. Now, I don't think anything bad about people woth Asperger's, au contraire, but I think that somebody would have noticed it if I had it.

Apparently a lot of self-tests have this problem: if you google a few random symptoms, like headache, feeling dizzy and feeling tired, you might end up with the diagnosis of cancer.

Best Line In Big Fish

Everybody should watch Big Fish, it's a great film with great actors, a great story, a great director and great visual designers. If you don't really like this film, consider watching it twice. I know it helped for me :D

Greece

Last week, Adrenaline Bomb Sunshine and me went to Greece with our school. Although our daily schedule was REALLY repetitive (visit an archeological site, visit a museum, have dinner and go to sleep) we had a lot of fun. I'm going to upload the photos tonight, so you can see what Greece is like.
