Ten Pointless Facts

1. On German keyboards, the keys for Z and Y are switched. I have no idea why.

2. The plural of platypus is platypuses.

3. Icelandic is cool: Only 350,000 people speak it and it is an extremely difficult language.

4. The answer to the Question Of Life is 42.

5. In 2006 James Blunt's voice was declared the most annoying sound of Britain.

6. There is a Dutch book called "My son has a sex life and I'm reading the story of Little Red Riding Hood out loud to my mom." But of course, the title is in Dutch.

7. Most Dutch people wouldn't pass the immigration test. That means that people that are about to live in
The Netherlands propbably know more about the Dutch traditions and history than people who have lived there all their lives.

8. There once was a sport called dwarfthrowing. People would just literally have a contest to see who could throw a little person the furthest. The sport is banned now.

9. Europeans spend a lot of money on ice cream every summer. In fact, if they'd give that money to funds, it'd be enough to make sure everybody in the world has proper access to clean water.

10. Annual Star Wars day is on May the fourth.
