We watched this during German class, because we are reading the book "Die Weisse Rose". I loved it, though the supporting cast wasn't really convincing, but maybe that has to do with me not being used to German acting.

This is based on the life of Sophia Scholl, one of the founders of the resistance Die Weisse Rose. The film tells of her last days before her execution. What was exceptionally beautiful was the end, where you don't see the members beheaded, but you can hear it. It's really horrific, but also beautiful.
