Better than I had expected, not as good as I'd hoped.
_____
Cal's wife has been cheating on him, his son is in love with the babysitter, who in turn is in love with Cal again. Cal's desperate for love/sex so he seeks help with a womanizer, who then falls in love with a 'PG-13' girl.
_____
I have always liked the mosaic kind of romantic comedy. I just felt that with this one, they focused more on moral (always keep trying, don't go for the older men, don't cheat) than on humour or romance. I liked the originality of the 'relationship' between Jessica and Cal, and I thought the 'meeting scene', in which it is revealed that Hannah is Cal's daughter, was extremely clever.
_____
Cal: [standing in the rain after Emily argues with him] What a cliché.
______
